How to forward calls on Verizon in United States: the codes to dial from your phone, how to set it up in My Verizon app, and how to switch it off again.

Replace [number] with the 10-digit number you want calls sent to, without the leading 1, for example 2015550123. Dial the code like a phone number and press call. A confirmation message or tone means it worked.
Step by step
- Dial *72 immediately followed by [number], then press Call
- Wait for the confirmation tone, then hang up
- Or open My Verizon → your line → 'Manage device' → 'Call forwarding'
- To cancel forwarding later, dial *73
Ask Verizon to do it
Dial *611 from your Verizon phone (or 800-922-0204) and ask to enable call forwarding to the number you want.
