A useful Zanus AI auto call evaluation starts with the contact list and the business action after each outcome. Test who may be called, what the agent can say, how a refusal or callback is recorded, and who owns the next step before using a live campaign.

Define the campaign before you import contacts
The official Zanus Front Office site describes sales and follow-up workflows, while its phone product page describes call handling. These are vendor descriptions. Ask which product and configuration the proposal includes, and request a demonstration of the exact outbound workflow you plan to run.
Write down the audience, purpose, approved script, calling window and intended outcome. Separate new enquiries that asked for a callback from older records with no recent permission evidence. A phone number in a CRM is not, by itself, proof that a contact expects an automated call.
Use a small, reviewed test list
Start with staff-controlled test contacts or a list that your team has already approved. Check duplicate numbers, missing names, time zones, stale records and any internal suppression list before the agent is connected. Use synthetic details where the workflow permits, and avoid exposing real customer data during early configuration.
Include a test record with an incorrect number and one with incomplete context. The agent should not invent a relationship or continue as though the right person answered. Agree what happens when the recipient asks why they are being called or asks not to be contacted again.
| Call result | Record and next action to verify |
|---|---|
| Interested | The stated interest, correct owner and agreed follow-up time |
| No answer | Whether retry rules are bounded and visible to staff |
| Wrong person or number | A correction path that prevents repeated contact |
| Declines or opts out | The request is captured and suppression is applied |
| Requests a person | The route or callback task contains the conversation context |
Check how the system handles a real conversation
Test an interruption, an unclear answer, a request outside the script and a recipient who asks for a human. Keep the test short and inspect the call record immediately. Confirm whether the result is a transcript, a structured outcome, a task or a combination; do not assume every displayed summary updates your own CRM.
Have a staff member who did not configure the agent review the record. Ask what happened and what they should do next. If they need to listen to the full recording to identify an opt-out or an urgent callback, the result may need a different summary or a direct handoff.
Keep permission and calling rules in your process
Before any live campaign, have the business owner verify applicable consent, suppression and calling-hour requirements for each audience and location. This guide is not legal advice. Configure your own approved policy, document its source and make the agent stop when the contact declines or the information is uncertain.
Test suppression using a controlled record and confirm that the same contact is excluded from later batches. Decide which team member can override or correct the list, and keep an audit trail for changes. Do not use an AI tool as the only source of legal interpretation.
Measure completed work, not calls placed
Count the eligible contacts, attempts, conversations, requested callbacks, completed follow-ups and suppressed records separately. A large attempt count does not show whether a customer received a useful answer or a salesperson received a qualified, actionable task.
Compare a representative period with your existing process. Include staff review time, corrections, duplicate CRM records and delayed callbacks. For a pilot, set a stop condition for wrong-person calls, missing opt-outs or a material increase in manual cleanup. Expand only after the team agrees the result is reliable.
Compare the scoped workflow with your current setup
Review the proposed call path alongside Sysevo voice agents, current plans and the Zanus comparison. Bring the actual contact source, required call outcome and staff queue to a workflow discussion. Ask both providers to show how a declined call, an unanswered transfer and a completed follow-up appear in the business record.
Questions buyers ask
Can an auto call safely use every contact in a CRM?
No. Review the audience, permission evidence, suppression status, time zone and purpose before a list is used. A stored phone number alone does not establish that an automated call is appropriate.
What should a call result save?
At minimum, check that the outcome, relevant context, opt-out or callback request and accountable next owner are clear to the staff member who receives the record.
What is a sensible first pilot?
Use a small approved audience, one clearly defined objective and a human review path. Stop and correct the workflow if suppression, identity or follow-up records are unreliable.
