Common questions
Is Macro cheaper than Sysevo?
Per seat, very likely. Macro publishes a free tier, Pro at $40 a seat a month and Max at $200, and it is open source, so a team that wants to can self-host it. Sysevo is scoped per engagement. The two are priced differently because they do different jobs: Macro replaces the tools a team writes, chats and plans in, while Sysevo runs customer-facing operations such as answering and placing calls, booking, quoting and taking payment. Price the work you need done, not the seat count.
Does Macro answer customer phone calls?
Macro lists calls with recording and transcription, but its pricing page does not describe AI phone agents, phone numbers or telephony. Ask Macro directly whether it answers or places calls to customers on a business number before assuming it can replace a receptionist or an outbound team. Sysevo is built around that: voice agents answer and place calls, use the business knowledge you configure, and write the outcome to the CRM.
Can Macro and Sysevo be used together?
They overlap less than the "all-in-one" label suggests. A team could keep its internal email, documents and chat in a workspace like Macro and run customer calls, bookings, quotes and payments in Sysevo. Check which system should hold the customer record before you choose, because two CRMs holding the same contacts is the problem an all-in-one is meant to remove.
